Check the Hostels in Los Angeles, most of them want you to pay for TWO people in ONE Private room, so the "pivate room" rate is really twice as much if you just want a room for yourself.

Oh Wait.. there are quite a few hotels ADVERTISING even $39, but try to book that room, I think it was booked sometime last decade.

Eat locally in Korea Town, or dine in. The StayON Beverly hostel is located locally in Korea Town and offers food delivery from famous Korean owned Pipers restaurant, Korean BBQ, Thai, Sushi and even Pizza Hut™

There is no shop in the building, but we have a couple of well stocked vending machines, stocked with beverages, snacks, blank CD's, Memory cards for your camera and batteries and lots of other little things you might need.

Low Voltage Lighting, we have so far installed 50 LED lights, each using only 7W, each room is a GREEN experience using only 21W for the entire standard lighting in the room, that is something in the ballpark of 350 watts for the entire stanby lighting... not bad for a commerical building.
